This is an exciting time to join DVConnect as we expand our service in delivering the 1800RESPECT program across the country!Work with a passionate and supportive teamPermanent contracts with ongoing development opportunities$47.55 per hour + penalties (afternoons and weekends) + salary packagingAbout the RoleAs we expand our services we will require a number of Team Leaders to lead our Specialist Counselling team across a 24/7 roster. The Team Leaders will work as part of the national 1800RESPECT service to provide expert client practice advice and leadership to our Specialist Counselling staff.Our Team Leaders provide support and supervision/debriefing to the specialist counsellors, and is  the first point of escalation for any practice or other related issues on shift or flagged through compliance and quality processes.  What we’re looking forA tertiary degree (of minimum 3 years duration) in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or relevant field4+ years trauma specialist counselling experience (preferably telephone counselling) or full-time equivalent experience in specialised sexual assault, domestic and family violence counsellingHold Professional membership of any of the following governing bodies – ACA, PACFA, AASW or AHPRAIt is a genuine requirement of this position that it be filled by a woman as permitted in sections 25, 104 and 105 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991Up to date with COVID-19 vaccinationsIn addition to the above, you will need to demonstrate:Experience in supervision and coaching of team members Capacity to work and support staff in a complex and often demanding work environment, whilst remaining calm.Strong organisational skillsSolid IT SkillsHigh level of resilience and self-care practices in placeAll offers of employment are subject to satisfactory background checks, including a National Police Check, Working with Children Check, referee checks and proof of eligibility to work in Australia.Why join DVConnectAbove Award conditions including paid parental leave, additional leave provisions; improved penalty rates and more generous long service leave provisionsFamily friendly workplaceFlexible work practicesEAP support and Professional Supervision provided Competitive salary and benefits including generous salary packaging, meal and entertainment card and discount programs availableOpportunity for ongoing professional developmentInterested?
