IT Support Officer

DVConnect supports people in Queensland to live free from domestic, family and sexual violence through the Womensline, Mensline and Sexual Assault Helplines. We also provide VictimConnect, a program supporting people who have experienced a violent crime in Queensland and provide specialist counselling support across Australia, within the national 1800RESPECT program.Your New RoleIt is an exciting time to join DVConnect as we expand our services! This position supports the Head of IT in providing reliable and effective IT administration helpdesk support across the organisation.This will be achieved by:Being the first point of contact in resolving or escalating helpdesk ticketsEngaging with internal staff to deliver supportMaintain IT hardware, software, workstations, phones, and conferencing systemsSupport to ensure compliance with risk management protocols, disaster recovery policies, IT and cyber security and privacy policies, legislation, and standardsWhat you need to succeedQualifications/Certifications and/or other professional development within first level IT support and IT systems1+ year in a comparable roleKnowledge and/or experience in providing IT helpdesk support with Windows desktop operating systemsAdvanced IT skills and experience particularly with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and ability to navigate within computer softwareExperience with supporting communications technologies including VoIP, POTS, PBX and contact centre systemsSolid work ethic, reliability, and the desire to learn and developWillingness to be flexible outside of normal business hours on occasion to meet operational requirementsCommitment to high quality customer service with strong interpersonal and communication skillsNFP sector experience would be an advantageAll offers of employment are subject to satisfactory background checks, including a National Police Check, referee checks and proof of eligibility to work in Australia and evidence that you are up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations.Why join DVConnect?Friendly, supportive, and passionate team who are making a difference in the lives of people impacted by domestic, family and sexual violenceFamily friendly workplaceEAP support providedCompetitive salary and benefits including generous salary packaging, meal and entertainment card and discount programs availableOpportunity for ongoing professional developmentInterested?
