It aims to assist women to transition into independent housing (either private rentals or public housing), while supporting the women who live there to be close to family, schools and work on the Gold Coast.Fixed-term contract until July 2025Part-time (2 days per week)GoldCoast, QLDAbout this rewarding role!By delivering strengths-based case management focusing on minimal intervention, you will provide comprehensive assistance for clients with low support needs. This includes but is not limited to, offering information and referrals to help clients access local services such as ongoing financial planning, emotional support, and referrals for legal assistance. You will also provide additional support by offering information and referrals for potential exit pathways, which can involve supporting the search for available private rentals and completing relevant paperwork and applications when necessary.As a Bella's Sanctuary Worker, you will facilitate a smooth transition for clients exiting our program by coordinating their move into a new property which may involve connecting the client with local services such as RizeUp or Baby Give Back to ensure comprehensive assistance is provided for the client throughout this journey.Collaboration with referring agencies is crucial in identifying potential tenants who are low-risk and have minimal support needs when vacancies become available. We evaluate, accept and assist suitable referrals with the tenancy sign-up process. Furthermore, you will coordinate with our property manager to guarantee clients receive a quality high-standard service, ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and sign-up processes, and uphold proper adherence to the maintenance of our tenancy agreements.In addition to these responsibilities, you hold accountability for cleaning communal areas and maintaining up-to-date records through our client file system.
