Your primary focus is to ensure payroll processes and accounting support activities are managed effectively. Specific activities will include:The management and processing of the fortnightly payroll and subsequent activities;Support the establishment, processing and maintenance of all accounting and finance related records;Contribute to the development of financial policy, procedures and processes under the direction of the Head of Finance & Business Services;Work as a member of the wider Operations Team (Administration, Facilities, Workforce Planning and Projects) to provide support and backfill at times of leaveWhat we’re looking forMinimum 2 years experience using accounting/financial software packages/systems (ideally MYOB Advanced) and solid understanding and experience in a wide number of accounting practices.Minimum 12mths experience in payroll processing and systems (Heropay advantageous) for 100+ staff and understanding of award provisions and impact on payroll.Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel skills/experience and solid MS Office software experienceHigh level of numeracy skills and solid analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately within time constraintsStrong service focus on the internal customer and client outcomes (proactive, responsive and takes initiative) with high standards and a continuous improvement approachPrevious experience working in a NFP environment and/or demonstrates a passion to be working in this space.Some flexibility in working hours at times to meet responsibilities of roleTeam player, flexible and friendly with a commitment to a collaborative working approachAll offers of employment are subject to satisfactory background checks including a National Police Check, referee checks, proof of COVID vaccinations and eligibility to work in Australia.Why Join DVConnect?Competitive remuneration and benefits including generous NFP salary packaging; paid parental leave and additional leave provisionsFamily friendly workplaceFlexible work practicesEAP support and a strong commitment to staff wellbeingOpportunity for ongoing professional developmentInterested?
