Make a real difference supporting women and children who have been affected by domestic and family violencePermanent part time positions available 4-8 shifts per fortnightSCHADS Award Level 4 $39.53 per hour + shift penalties + superannuationYour New RoleAs a Crisis Intervention Counsellor, you will provide domestic and family violence support services to Queensland women through information and referral, crisis counselling, safety planning, advocacy and through the provision of safe accommodation and travel.You will be responsible for making professionals assessments of caller needs and taking all reasonable action to meet these needs within the operating framework and principles of DVConnect.Our Crisis Intervention Counsellors also respond to incoming calls on the Queensland Sexual Assault line and at times on DVConnect’s Mensline.We are looking to fill a variety of day and evenings shifts across our 24/7 roster, if you would like to know more details, please contact us on the details below.
